first poster in a series of typographic posters. typeface: helvetica. i'm attempting to describe each typeface in poster form, with the background and phrase. helvetica is solid and uniform, which has enabled it to last from the time it was made into present day. it may be boring in some aspects, but when a designer needs a simple sans-serif that feels good, helvetica is usually the first choice.
