seniority...

it's a little hard for me to believe that i'm actually going to be a senior that is allowed to graduate in may...so bizarre. i never thought this year would come. it's almost frightening to know that my biggest comfort, that is my family at anderson, will no longer exist from year to year. i'll still keep up with everyone after graduation, but the delirium and laughter that fills my life every day of the fall and spring semesters won't be there anymore. i've had this feeling of nostalgia all summer and i think it's because i've finally recognized how valuable my friends and professors are, and how they are what has shaped me. i mean, i've been in school for five years, soon to be six...i don't think anyone can stay at one location that long and NOT be touched by it in some way.

i've already made it a goal to capture as much of this year as i can...in video and photo form. i've got this rad new camera, so why not put the video feature to work? i want to compile a full blown "memories" dvd at the end of the year to give to all of my friends because i know once we leave, we're all going to feel the same way about moving on with our lives...we'll all be so depressed about it, we'll find excuses to relive our college years in any way we can...or at least that's how i'll be...
