i feel like every time i read the bible, there's something slapping me in the face. for example, tonight i was reading james and came across this. i struggle with selfishness on an hourly basis...obviously, because i'm human, but that's no excuse. i'm trying to think of myself less and more of others. i'm trying to be honest with others and encourage them as well. it's not that easy. it's the hardest thing, actually.
