halloween...

a little something i realized last night at our annual halloween party is that the people who are at the party make the party. you can have sweet decorations and music, but if you're missing some integral people, it just isn't the same. as you all know now...because it is ingrained in your heads, jen, chelsea, and chris are in australia right now. they're ALWAYS at the parties we have with our huge group of friends. it's funny how we all kind of collectively realized that because they were missing, there was a substantial amount of fun missing in the equation.

first off, jen can get a party started just by taking her energy out on the dance floor, be that through her signature "boot dance" or crazy flailing of her arms...people always flock to where she is dancing. it's science. she has a way of encouraging even the tightest of tightwads to let loose and put on their dancing shoes for a night of a "do whatever you want" kind of mood. definitely an asset in any party situation. obviously.

second of all, chelsea is the best at getting a laugh out of. at these parties, she's always there to be like "ooooh myyyyyyy goooooooosh!" or "that's sooooooo sketchyyyyyyyy!"...and i typed it like that, because that's how she sounds. it's the best thing in the world. to have chelsea there being just as sketched out as you are, laughing the entire time. literally, the greatest.

thirdly, there is chris...knowns as chri. the best part of chri is his hilarious sarcastic sayings, or his substitutions for curse words. he laughs so loud too, you can't help but laugh when he does...and usually, when he laughs, you know it's hilarious. we definitely missed the crap out of the phil/lauren/chri dynamic. it's so different!

with all that being said. i miss my friends. duh...i've said it over and over again, but for real...those people are priceless. their presence was desperately missed at our annual halloween party, especially since it was our last one...next year will have to be a reunion party!

oh, by the way...i was taylor swift. red lipstick is her thing. not mine.
