worst...

the worst day turned into the best day. i had some crappy times at work today. being stressed right when i got there to crank something out in an hour and a half. then i worked on a valentine themed piece. not my cup of tea. hearts are NOT ideal. ever. on top of that, cameron and i realized we don't have time on the schedule to work on the animation we are a part of. an even bigger stressor. so, after being on the verge of crying, partly due to exhaustion (maybe slept two hours straight the night before) and due to the continuous stress that didn't let up all day, i was looking forward to my meeting with jane and speaker. we met at coffee underground to discuss and organize the site comps for the auva site i'm working on. it was nice to talk through it all and eventually regain my composure after a horrible day. my mind was essentially a blob of useless jelly at the beginning of the meeting, until i was able to clear my head some just by sitting and doing nothing but what i love. grids, alignment, pixels, type...all of that jazz. we worked it all out and by golly, if we don't have an award-winning site in our futures, i don't know what to think. working hand in hand with jane and speaker has been awesome. so much brain power going on. so many valid suggestions, makes my job easier, and helps me visually sort through the vomit of information i tend to throw onto the screen during my first stab at a project. i will say that this site is ballin'. completely and utterly balllllinnnnnn'. i cannot wait until it's up and running. by the way...i had a turtle mocha and i may be up all night. whoops.
