cali...

today, i was informed of a possible job opportunity at a camp in california. apparently, they've been trying to find a designer that doesn't suck. not just a summer job, but a full-time job designing promotional material and apparel. not just t-shirts, but other clothing items too. it's weird, with graduation creeping up so fast, to be thinking of opportunities to get out of south carolina. i could pay off my student loans, since i'm guessing room and board would be paid for...and i wouldn't have car expenses. i also got my portfolio case in the mail today. our references are due on monday, and this whole real world thing is getting more real each day. i don't want to grow up. i've never really wanted to, but the idea of actually making a living for myself and deciding for myself what i'd like to do next or where i'd want to go next is pretty cool. scary...but cool. we'll see though. if i did something like that, i'd really miss my family (including taz...who is doing a miraculous job at getting back to normal, by the way). onward and upward...in the words of philip belger, as stated on his senior show post card design.
